A nonrefundable deposit of $400 is required to hold a puppy. Puppy prices range from $600 to $800 and do not include shipping. The deposit would only be refunded in the case that something would happen to the puppy, but not if you would change your mind. So, please think through your decision to add a new puppy to your family! Only Paypal or Cash are accepted for deposits. Add an additional 4% if payment is made through paypal unless the free personal pay option is selected. Final payment of the puppy and all other costs including shipping, is due at the time the puppy is picked up, or before shipping.
If you want him/her shipped by air it will cost approximately $400 to $500 subject to change with airline rates, cost of health papers, & kennel. Puppies can also be taken on board as carryon luggage with an approved soft-sided kennel (total weight of puppy and kennel cannot exceed 20 pounds)
We may have transport for the puppies that need delivery along with a friend of the family on his trip from South Dakota to California. His general route will be: South through South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, to Oklahoma City, then west I40 through Texas, New Mexico (Albuquerque) and Arizona (Flagstaff) to California (Needles) then south to Hemet, California. Cost for travel will be $200 per puppy plus cost of health certificate ($50) if wanted; plus cost of crate if wanted. It is possible to deviate from this route some if needed. The trip will take place when the puppies are ready to be weaned. The puppies will be 6-10 weeks old at the time. (We may also have someone that will be traveling to the Eastern part of the US.) If you want your puppy to have its first parvo/distemper shot - add $50 and let me know so that we can schedule a vet visit to have that done.
*Blaster was born on 04/25/01 and has lived with us since he was 8 weeks old. He weighs a trim 100 pounds and at 9 years old is in excellent health. He is a kind-hearted dog that loves people and animals - especially children and babies of any species. He is also an excellent hunting dog. Blaster has a goofy/ comedian side to his personality and somtimes likes to be silly. He loves to climb and observe things from a high vantage point - he has even been known to climb ladders. He is the only lab that I have ever known to enjoy riding horse.
Mocha - the Mom - 4 year old AKC registered English Mastiff
*Mocha is a purebred AKC registered English Mastiff. She weighs a trim 110 pounds and is in excellent health. She is very quiet and laid back but also is very fun loving. Mocha likes to swim in our pond, play with our other dogs, and laze around. She is good with children, other animals, loves people and loves to snuggle. She is also an excellent guard dog.

Puppy Updates:
11/18/10 - 8:30 pm - Mom's temp is dropping and she is getting ready to whelp.
11/19/10 - 7am - Finally the first puppy arrives - 4 puppies by the end of the day.
11/25/10 - New pictures of the puppies. They make some interesting sounds - cooing, chittering and occassionally we hear a little puppy bark.
11/27/10 - Weighed the puppies. They spend a lot of time sleeping on their backs and dreaming puppy dreams.
12/10/10 - Puppies turned 3 weeks old today. They can walk on all 4 legs now and can see. Started paper training them and they are catching on quick. New photos and dewormed the puppies. Our scale is broken so we don't have exact weights on the puppies - but they are all around 5-6 pounds.
12/12/10 - The puppies had their first meal of puppy mash - they are loving it.
12/20/10 - The puppies teeth came in. They are eating puppy mash and also helping themselves to thier mom's solid food. They are spending lots of time exploring and playing with each other now. New pictures are posted on the facebook album.
12/24/10 - Weighed and dewormed the puppies. They are enjoying life. Eat, play, sleep.
12/29/10 - Puppies went outside for the first time yesterday - now they think they are big shots and race outside into the puppy yard with the big dogs, go potty and have a good time playing in the snow and with the icicles. When they are ready to come in and warm up - they come right to the door.
Winnie is a full sister to the puppies and at 8 months she is over 100 pounds. Mastiffs can grow 3 years so we are still waiting to see how big she will get.
She loves water and loves to swim, loves to eat, play, antics, hugs and snuggles. We are finding that she is super smart. We thought her parents were smart but she is smarter yet. She learned how to unlatch and open and close the kennel door to her baby brother and sisters' kennel and close it behind her.
She loves people but will give her "guard dog" bark until we give them our approval. If someone has been to our place before and has gotten our approval she remembers them the next time. She gets compliments from everyone about how beautiful she is.
Daffy is the daredevil and explorer of the group. She loves to explore and has a fiesty personality. She also is a talker and has the cutest little rrrruff in greeting you.
Petunia is a sweetie. She likes to play and already loves a good belly rub.
