A nonrefundable deposit of $400 is required to hold a puppy. Puppy prices range from $600 to $800 and do not include shipping. The deposit would only be refunded in the case that something would happen to the puppy, but not if you would change your mind. So, please think through your decision to add a new puppy to your family! Only Paypal or Cash are accepted for deposits. Add an additional 4% if payment is made through paypal unless the free personal pay option is selected. Final payment of the puppy and all other costs including shipping, is due at the time the puppy is picked up, or before shipping.
If you want him/her shipped by air it will cost approximately $400 to $500 subject to change with airline rates, cost of health papers, & kennel. Puppies can also be taken on board as carryon luggage with an approved soft-sided kennel (total weight of puppy and kennel cannot exceed 20 pounds)
A friend of the family is willing to take puppies that need delivery along with him on his trip from South Dakota to California. His general route will be: South through South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, to Oklahoma City, then west I40 through Texas, New Mexico (Albuquerque) and Arizona (Flagstaff) to California (Needles) then south to Hemet, California. Cost for travel will be $200 per puppy plus cost of health certificate ($50) if wanted; plus cost of crate if wanted. It is possible to deviate from this route some if needed. The trip will take place when the puppies are ready to be weaned. The puppies will be 6-10 weeks old at the time. (We may also have someone that will be traveling to the Eastern part of the US.) If you want your puppy to have its first parvo/distemper shot - add $50 and let me know so that we can schedule a vet visit to have that done.
*Blaster was born on 04/25/01 and has lived with us since he was 8 weeks old. He weighs a trim 95-100 pounds and at 9 years old is in excellent health. He is a kind-hearted dog that loves people and animals - especially children and babies of any species. He is also an excellent hunting dog. Blaster has a goofy/ comedian side to his personality and somtimes likes to be silly. He loves to climb and observe things from a high vantage point - he has even been known to climb ladders. He is the only lab that I have ever known to enjoy riding horse.
Mocha - the Mom - 4 year old AKC registered English Mastiff
*Mocha is a purebred AKC registered English Mastiff. She weighs a trim 110 pounds and is in excellent health. She is very quiet and laid back but also is very fun loving. Mocha likes to swim in our pond, play with our other dogs, and laze around. She is good with children, other animals, loves people and loves to snuggle. She is also an excellent guard dog.

Puppy Updates:
4/23/10 - The puppies arrived. 6 females and 5 males. They are all black and some of them have a white spot on their chest and white toes. 30+ hours of labor - we are all exhausted.
5/01/10 - Weighed all the puppies - they are growing fast. They all had their toenails trimmed and photos taken.
5/07/10 - Their eyes have just opened (can't see very well yet) and they went from crawling to walking. The puppies have grown out of their collars so they all got new collars today. Then they were weighed and got their first deworming.
5/10/10 - Added new photos to facebook and a 2nd album. The puppies are getting quick. They drank out of a bowl for the first time today and had their first meal of puppy mash - very messy.
5/16/10 - Added new photos to facebook Album 2. Weighed and Dewormed the puppies. This week they can see and are starting to play with each other and toys. They are teething and eating thier puppy mash outside weather permitting. They also started paper training & are catching on quick. Added a water bowl for them.
6/01/10 - New photos on facebook Albums 2 and 3. The Puppies are enjoying their mash, sleeping in front of the fan, playing outside and have learned how to dig and to climb stairs. They got weighed and dewormed today and are growing fast. They are doing very well with paper training and also come when called (to "come puppies" and clap hands).
6/08/10 - The puppies got to play in the rain today for awhile - when they were ready to come in they all pawed at the door. They loved getting toweled off and then wrestled for awhile before settling in for a nap.
6/11/10 - Tigger, Peaches and Passion travelled to SD with us to attend a horse event. They traveled well - whined when they needed to go potty so we could stop. Had fun playing with the other dogs once there. Been working on house training with all the puppies.
6/17/10 - The puppies range in weight from 17 to 23 pounds.
7/6/10 - The puppies got dewormed today.
7/15/10 - The puppies discovered ice today. They are in love.
Passion is the smallest of the pups but she is the bravest of all. She is a daredevil and faces any danger headon and looks to investigate it. She also loves to play, snuggle, get belly rubs and give kisses.
Velma is on eof the quieter puppies, but still energetic and loves to play. She also loves a good snuggle and belly rub.
Sally is the biggest of the girls and is the 2nd biggest of all the puppies. She is the most Mastiff looking. She is soft-hearted, fun-loving, and the most laid back of the puppies. She also loves a good snuggle and belly rub.
Peaches has the most white of the girls. She is always sure to come by and plop in my lap for a snuggle. She loves to give kisses too.
She got her name because she is the flashiest of the puppies. She is second only to Flower in athletic ability. And is second only to Sally in size. She also loves to play, a good belly rub and snuggle.
Flower is the most athletic of the puppies - she leaps over the puppy divider while the rest of them climb over. Flower loves to play, snuggle and explore. She seems to be one of the busier puppies and was the first to learn how to squeak the toys.
Winnie is a full sister to the puppies and at 8 months she is over 100 pounds. Mastiffs can grow 3 years so we are still waiting to see how big she will get.
She loves water and loves to swim, loves to eat, play, antics, hugs and snuggles. We are finding that she is super smart. We thought her parents were smart but she is smarter yet. She learned how to unlatch and open and close the kennel door to her baby brother and sisters' kennel and close it behind her.
She loves people but will give her "guard dog" bark until we give them our approval. If someone has been to our place before and has gotten our approval she remembers them the next time. She gets compliments from everyone about how beautiful she is.
