A nonrefundable deposit of $400 is required to hold a puppy. It would only be refunded in the case that something would happen to the puppy, but not if you would change your mind. So, please think through your decision to add a new puppy to your family! Only Paypal or Cash are accepted for deposits. Add an additional 4% if payment is made through paypal unless the free personal pay option is selected. Final payment of the puppy and all other costs including shipping, is due at the time the puppy is picked up, or before shipping.
If you want him/her shipped by air it will cost approximately $375 to $425 subject to change with airline rates, cost of health papers, & kennel. Puppies can also be taken on board as carryon luggage with an approved soft-sided kennel (total weight of puppy and kennel cannot exceed 20 pounds)
A friend of the family is willing to take puppies that need delivery along with him on his trip from South Dakota to California. His general route will be: South through South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, to Oklahoma City, then west I40 through Texas, New Mexico (Albuquerque) and Arizona (Flagstaff) to California (Needles) then south to Hemet, California. Cost for travel will be $200 per puppy plus cost of health certificate ($50) if wanted; plus cost of crate if wanted. It is possible to deviate from this route some if needed. The trip will take place when the puppies are ready to be weaned. The puppies will be 6-10 weeks old at the time. (We may also have someone that will be traveling to the Eastern part of the US.) If you want your puppy to have its first parvo/distemper shot - add $50 and let me know so that we can schedule a vet visit to have that done.
*Blaster was born on 04/25/01 and has lived with us since he was 8 weeks old. He weighs a trim 90-100 pounds and at 8 years old is in excellent health. He is a kind-hearted dog that loves people and animals - especially children and babies of any species. He is also an excellent hunting dog. Blaster has a goofy/ comedian side to his personality and somtimes likes to be silly. He loves to climb and observe things from a high vantage point - he has even been known to climb ladders. He is the only lab that I have ever known to enjoy riding horse.

Puppy Updates: 10/22/09 - At less than 3 weeks old we are paper training the puppies to help keep their kennel clean. Its amazing how fast they are learning this.
10/26/09 - The puppies all have their eyes open and can see well. They just learned how to drink milk from a pan and are starting play with each other. When they are done eating they like to crawl into my lap, snuggle up and fall asleep.
10/28/09 - The puppies almost all have their first teeth now. They had their first taste of puppy chow gruel and loved every messy bit of it.
11/07/09 - The puppies are eating mash and nursing every 5 hours now and even tried a snack of dry food. They are really got the hang of paper training even when they are outside their box. The puppies went outside today for the first time - they were a little nervous at first.
11/10/09 - The puppies are really enjoying their new outdoor play yard. They are also getting the hang of house training faster than I ever expected - the puppies will whine to get out of their box in the house so they can go outside to potty. These are some smart puppies.
11/12/09 - Weighed and dewormed the puppies. They are all right around 10 pounds - they have more than doubled in weight in the last 2 weeks.
11/21/09 - All the puppies are on their way to their new homes - it sure is quiet here without them.
